Chance 2 Play
Sometimes we all need a little help. When NHL’er Arron Asham was growing up, members of the community were there for him and supported his efforts on and off the ice.
Each year Arron hosts a Charity Golf Tournament with the proceeds going directly to the Arron’s Chance 2 Play Hockey program. The goal of the program is to provide hockey opportunities for area children despite the difficult economic circumstances of their families.
Who Qualifies?
Children and youth up to 18 years of age from the central plains minor hockey who meet the qualification of financial need.
Central Plains Region includes: Portage la Prairie, Gladstone, MacGregor, Oakville, St Claude, St Eustche, Central Plains Capitals
What does it fund?
The Arron’s Chance 2 Play Hockey Fund pays full hockey registrations. The National Hockey League players association’s “Goals & Dreams” has donated hockey equipment to Arron’s Chance 2 Play. This new equipment is available for deserving children through our program.
